About Netivaleo
Netivaleo is a small UK cybersecurity practice, and for the most part it is a place to write things down. The notes and references here are the plain version of ideas that usually arrive wrapped in noise: what an organisation's exposure really consists of, why segmentation does more than most tools, and what defending an essential service actually comes down to.
The writing keeps to one rule. Nothing goes up that can't be stood behind: no invented figures, no borrowed urgency, no claim dressed up as bigger than it is. Where something is uncertain or still moving, it says so and points you to the source.
There is no newsletter and nothing to sign up for. If a note is useful, use it. If it is wrong, it gets corrected.
Alongside the writing, Netivaleo takes on a small number of attack-surface reviews for organisations that ask. The page on that explains what it involves; there is no pitch attached to it.
